GRACE is the evening dress that the FRAME Denim woman will wear to a party.” Introducing the new Little Black Dress concept brand from Erik Torstensson and Jens Grede, the duo behind London-Los Angeles denim brand FRAME, the Saturday Group and Industrie magazine.

GRACE MMXIII was first launched as an intimate collection of 12 perfect black evening dresses during a secret dinner and show during last London Fashion Week, styled by Katie Grand, featuring Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Suki Waterhouse, no less! Their penchant for IT-girl muses continues for GRACE MMXIII as it goes for FRAME Denim, this time ubiquitous model and socialite Poppy Delevingne was chosen as the face for Spring/Summer 2015 campaign.

Ever since introduced and made popular worldwide by Coco Chanel in the 1920s, the Little Black Dress has been the ultimate symbol of sartorial seamlessness; that one clothing a woman can never be overdressed or underdressed in. Let us reminisce some of the most iconic little black dresses that has cemented a momentous event in fashion history: from Audrey Hepburn’s famed appearance in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Marilyn Monroe’s off-shoulder piece, to Elizabeth Hurley’s Versace safety pin dress, Angelina Jolie’s high slit version and many more. Regardless of ever-changing trends and beauty standards, the LBD has preserved its utmost substance and significance when it comes to timeless elegance. GRACE MMXIII, too, would make its own mark both in the industry and our everyday wardrobe for that aforementioned reason…

“We want the dresses to be in good fabrics and made well, yet affordable and pared down in other ways,” Torstensson explained, “But I also think, those simpler things, that’s often what women are missing in their wardrobes.”

GRACE MMXIII dresses would take you from the party dance floor to sophisticated dinner dates effortlessly. Every permutation - from strapless and mini styles, to off-the-shoulder gowns – is impossibly sleek, simple, and stunning. This season also revisits the poise of an elongated jumpsuit that would score equal versatility points as their dress counterpart. Event dressing has never been easier, especially at this time of the year. Look no further if you’re looking for an easy one-piece for your New Year’s Eve outfit!
