A big congratulations to Mansur Gavriel, winner of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Swarovski Award for Accessory Design! This award is given to the very best emerging talent in accessory design and with Mansur Gavriel, you can really see why.

Founded in just 2013, Mansur Gavriel has gone strength to strength over the years and have quite amazingly sustained a cult following where demand for their bucket bags have exceeded supply multiple times each time they have a new stock drop. The fashion world just can't get enough of their bags!

Quintessential, unadorned, and minimalist, one can't ask for more when looking for an everyday bag that is functional, spacious and chic at the same time. Designed in New York and made in Italy from the finest Tuscan leather, their product range has increased steadily through the years and there may be more in the works.

At the CFDA Awards event, we got a glimpse of the first ever Mansur Gavriel-designed clothing and shoes. Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel each wore a Peter Pan collared dress and suede heels. Again, their signature aesthetic shines through here; simple colours and clean lines. Here's what they have to say.

“We have a very specific visual world in mind for the brand, so we were excited for the opportunity to create our own looks for the evening. We made the dresses in Italy, as well as our shoes and clutches. We’ve been developing clutches, (and we) do have plans, but not in the immediate future, (to launch clothing and shoes).”

And thus, we wait with bated breath.
